Are you wanting to raise your fees or charge a premium rate for therapy intensives, but questioning if those high fees will make you inaccessible as a therapist?

Yes, it is true that not everyone can afford higher fee services.

BUT…

It definitely does not make you inaccessible. In fact, it can actually make you MORE accessible.

Accessibility means different things, but what it should NOT mean is that you’re financially struggling at the cost of clients getting access to you. Charging high rates means you get to be accessible in different ways.

When you charge fees that account for your time, presence, and knowledge, you can show up better for your clients and build a business that excites you.

This IS accessibility.

Because I have higher fees,

• I can do more mental health psychoeducation on social media and my website

• I can spend more time teaching other therapists how to better support their clients (and their businesses) through therapy intensives

• I can take on a low-fee client without anxiety about my financial security

No one wants to work with a therapist who’s overworked and burnt out. Clients can TELL when they aren’t receiving high quality services.

When you feel energized and can give clients your BEST self, they’ll notice better results and see that the premium fee is worth the cost.

Remember: there is nothing wrong with being a therapist who offers services at a premium fee.
