Hi, I'm Amanda
I'm excited you're here.
Welcome to Happy, Healthy, & Wealthy Therapists, where you’ll find conversations about marketing, scaling, and building a private practice that supports your clients, your nervous system, and your biggest dreams.

Three years ago, I found myself sitting at my desk after another 10-hour workday, surrounded by half-drunk coffee and tea cups, and an even fuller inbox.
I had checked every box that business coaches tell you to:
✅ Website updated
✅ New Instagram reel
✅ Three clients scheduled for the next morning
And yet… I still felt like I was failing.
That’s when I realized something huge —
I was building my business on burnout.
Not because I didn’t care.
But because I was convinced that the only way to “earn” freedom was to hustle my way to it.
Here’s what I’ve learned since then (and what I wish I’d known sooner):
1️⃣ Ease doesn’t come from doing less; it comes from doing what matters most. When you focus on the strategies that actually compound over time (like SEO or genuine referral relationships), you start to create momentum instead of constantly pushing the boulder uphill.
2️⃣ Rest is a business strategy. You can’t think creatively or problem-solve effectively when your nervous system is fried. (Trauma therapists, you of all people know this.)
3️⃣ Sustainability > quick wins. You deserve systems that support you whether you’re online or off — not just during launch week.
So here’s your reflection for today:
Where in your business are you over-functioning because you don’t fully trust that ease can be effective?
Remember: You don’t need to hustle harder to have the life and practice you want.
Rooting for your rest,
Amanda
