Welcome, I'm Amanda
I'm excited you're here.
Welcome to my blog where you'll get all things business education and tips & tricks for your private practice business to reference during difficult times, stressful workdays, and moments when manifesting your true self.

Let’s talk about something that makes a lot of therapists squirm: money.
Most of us were never taught how to think about money — just how to avoid it. And those old beliefs sneak into our practices every single day.
Here are the top 3 myths I see keeping therapists stuck at “barely enough”:
💠Myth #1: “Charging more makes therapy less accessible.” Truth: when you’re underpaid and overworked, you can’t sustainably stay in the field — and that’s the least accessible outcome of all.
💠Myth #2: “I need to help everyone.” You don’t. You need to help the people you’re most effective with. Abundance comes from clarity, not quantity.
💠Myth #3: “I’m not good with business stuff.” You built a private practice from scratch — that’s entrepreneurship, my friend. The difference between struggle and stability usually comes down to systems, not skill.
Here’s your gentle homework:
Take 5 minutes today and write down one belief you’re ready to release around money.
Then, replace it with this affirmation:
“The more supported I am, the more deeply I can support my clients.”

Amanda
