Welcome, I'm Amanda
I'm excited you're here.
Welcome to my blog where you'll get all things business education and tips & tricks for your private practice business to reference during difficult times, stressful workdays, and moments when manifesting your true self.

I used to think freedom meant working less.
Fewer sessions. Fewer emails. Fewer hours in front of my laptop.
But what I’ve learned over time is that freedom isn’t about doing less — it’s about doing what feels aligned.
Because truthfully, I’ve had “light” weeks in my schedule that still felt heavy…
And I’ve had full, busy weeks that felt energizing.
The difference wasn’t the number of hours — it was what those hours were spent on.
Here’s what I mean:
✨ Freedom is being able to choose what kind of work fills your time. Not being stuck in the same 50-minute model just because that’s what grad school taught us.
✨ Freedom is knowing your income doesn’t collapse if you take time off. Whether that’s through intensives, SEO bringing clients in while you’re offline, or automations that support your systems — true freedom is options.
✨ Freedom is trust. Trusting your skills. Trusting your marketing. Trusting that you can run your practice your way and still thrive.
When I finally started redefining success on my own terms — instead of trying to fit my business into everyone else’s formula — everything shifted.
My income grew.
My energy came back.
And most importantly, I started loving my work again.
So if you’ve been craving more freedom lately, I want you to pause and ask yourself:
“What does freedom actually look like for me?”
Not what other therapists are doing. Not what your supervisor said years ago. YOU.
Because the second you get clear on that answer, the strategy part becomes a whole lot easier.
Talk soon,
Amanda
