Welcome, I'm Amanda
I'm excited you're here.
Welcome to my blog where you'll get all things business education and tips & tricks for your private practice business to reference during difficult times, stressful workdays, and moments when manifesting your true self.

Your client emails you cancelling at the last minute because they got the stomach flu… and a wave of relief washes over you. For a split second, you think “finally. I get a break. Maybe I can even squeeze in a nap”. Then almost immediately the guilt sets in because….
Seriously? You’re relieved your client is sick?
Look…
You got into this work because you care, you want to help people, and TBH you’re pretty damn good at it.
But lately it feels like you’re barely holding it together. You put off emails, zone out during sessions, and struggle to focus on notes. By the end of the day, you’re depleted.
Some nights you lie in bed running the numbers in your head.
If I take on just five more clients… If I raise my rates… If I can just hold out a little longer…
You do the math on what it would take to finally afford that vacation to Europe you’ve been dreaming about, only to realize that to make it happen, you have to push yourself even harder.
You tell yourself it’s just a season. Once you’re more established, it’ll feel easier. This is just what running a business is like. So you keep showing up, doing the work and serving your clients.
But those thoughts you don’t want to say out loud? They creep back in, no matter how much you push them away.
Would it be easier to go back to agency work?
You hated it before, but at least there was a steady paycheck. At least you weren’t responsible for everything—finding clients, booking sessions, managing paperwork, marketing yourself, running the actual business. At least there wasn’t this constant pressure to figure it all out on your own.
Then there’s the other voice. The one that wonders if you’re just doing something wrong. Should you lower your rates to get more clients? Invest in another marketing course? Post more on Instagram? Shouldn’t you have this all figured out by now?!?
Deep down you know that’s not the answer.
Because this isn’t the life you dreamed of when you went into private practice. You wanted freedom, flexibility, and security – but instead you feel overworked, underpaid, and unsure how to make it sustainable.
Here’s what I learned directly helping over 70 therapists build practices that actually work for them:
👉🏼You cannot be the best therapist for your clients if you are constantly running on empty.
👉🏼 Taking care of yourself is not selfish.
👉🏼 Creating financial stability is not unethical.
Having a practice that actually works FOR you doesn’t mean you’re abandoning your values—it means you’re protecting them.
But the problem? You’ve been taught that therapists shouldn’t care about money. That charging more makes you greedy. That working in private practice means choosing between financial security and being a good person.
None of that is true.
❌ You don’t have to accept burnout as the price of helping people.
❌ You don’t have to keep chasing a business model that wasn’t built for sustainability.
❌ And you definitely don’t have to spend your nights wondering if there’s another way.
Because there is another way.
What if I told you that you could start booking high-paying therapy intensives—without burnout, without complicated marketing, and without feeling salesy?
You’re probably thinking, “Sure, I’d LOVE to book intensives and make more money, but there’s gotta be some kind of catch.”
I’m here to show you that there isn’t.
Introducing…
In this FREE 1-hour training, I’ll walk you through:
✅ The simple framework for structuring intensives that clients are excited to invest in.
✅ How to market your intensives without exhausting yourself on social media.
✅ The key to confidently closing clients—even if you’ve never offered an intensive before.
I’ve built a six-figure private practice with therapy intensives, and I want to show you how easy and rewarding it can be to do the same.
You in?
