Hi, I’m Dr. Amanda Buduris — a Latina trauma therapist, Certified Brainspotting therapist, business and mindset coach, and someone who’s walked the path from burnout to building a business that supports my wellbeing instead of draining it.
In 3.5 years, I built a practice and coaching business that passed $1M in revenue — all while working part-time, prioritizing rest, and delivering deeply ethical, effective clinical work.
I started this podcast because therapists deserve more than survival mode.
More than guilt.
More than the 50-minute hamster wheel.
I’m here to prove that you can support your clients and your bank account… your nervous system and your dreams.
And I’m going to show you exactly how I did it — and how you can, too.
“You are the person I needed to listen to and hear from five years ago when I thought, ‘I’m a great therapist—I’ll just create a few group coaching programs/courses, no problem. People will want them and it will be passive income.’ Ummmmm, no.
It has been frustrating and disappointing and deflating. I am now in the process of regrouping and really figuring out what I WANT to do.
I found your podcast and listened to your episode about what scaling really means. I think this episode should be required listening for anyone who thinks they can just build it and they will come—it’s not that easy.
Thank you for your honesty and transparency. So often people gloss over the hard stuff and make it sound pretty simple to achieve massive success with courses, programs, or digital products—but you speak to stuff I hadn’t really considered. I found you exactly when I needed to.”

"Amanda is straightforward, nervous system informed, and truly cares about helping therapists build practices that don’t require us to sacrifice our sanity. She gets that most of us didn’t go into this field to become marketing experts or hustle our way to burnout. Just practical, grounded advice from someone who understands what we're actually dealing with. Her podcast is definitely worth listening to and learning from!"

"In a world where there are so many coaches who are looking to make a buck, Amanda is breath of fresh air. She reminds us that following a point-by-point plan might not work for you. That's more of the coaching we need in this world (and I can first hand attest to this authenticity)."

"Amanda’s authentic, down-to-earth vibe is so refreshing in a world of marketing and pushes to do something different. She walks the walk and truly helps therapists create realities that align with their values, in do-able steps. I’m excited to listen to every episode!"

“Among the sea of business coaches for therapists, I appreciate Amanda’s voice the most because of the way she prioritizes the nervous system health of the therapist, identifies how financial & relational trauma show up in the business, and balances that with ethical pricing that considers the resources and autonomy of the client. This kind of discussion is essential for therapists like me who are BIPOC with limited energy and want to offer justice-aligned care while stewarding their energy well. Highly recommend to therapists in private practice, especially if you carry a marginalized identity & trauma history.”
